The Charles Rolls Heritage Trust provides a respected heritage resource for information regarding Britains first International Aviation Meeting held in Southbourne and Charles Rolls, co founder of Rolls-Royce, the aviation and motoring pioneer who died at the event. The memorial plaque to Rolls is in the private grounds of St Peters School and the Trust aims to build a heritage patio in public view on Broadway, the site of the airfield on the access road to Hengistbury Head.
We need your help so we can continue to offer our heritage resource and to complete our project to provide a heritage patio for the edcuation of all! Ongoing work is by giving talks to community organisations and supporting STEM projects in local schools.
Thank you for your support and good luck!
