Next BH Coastal Lottery draw on Sat 27 April at 8PM
The draw is in 5 days 9 hours 2 minutes!
Bournemouth aviary is a sanctuary for 200 birds, all rescued or born in the aviary.
The aviary is run by volunteers, funded by donations and sponsorship with in kind support from Bournemouth Council.
Originally built in 1920, Bournemouth’s aviary forms part of the Grade II listed Victorian Gardens in Bournemouth town centre. The aviary and gardens are rare examples of a bygone age.
Originally built more than 50 years ago, the aviary is in urgent need of refurbishment. We have currently raised £100,000 towards our £200,000 fundraising target. The new aviary will offer a 360-degree viewing experience and more flight space for birds.
The therapeutic benefits of nature and bird watching are extensive for all, however it can be particuarly effective to support people with dementia, children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and alleviate a range of mental health problems.
We need your help so we can continue to offer and even expand our service!
Thank you for your support and good luck!
